im wondering what the last 3 numbers of a batch signify.. so, for example
3218C021: what does the '021' signify?
serialization code unless anything has changed
1st letter or digit = plant code (Malay)
0 = San Jose, Costa Rica
1 = Cavite, Philippines
3 = .............., Costa Rica
6 = Chandler, Arizona
7 = .........., Philippines
8 = Leixlip, Ireland
9 = Penang, Malaysia
L = ............, Malaysia
Q = ..........., Malaysia
R = Manila, Philippines
Y = Leixlip, Ireland
2nd digit = Year of production (2001)
3rd & 4th digits = week (49th week )
5th - 8th digits= lot number
10th - 13th digits = serialization code

I was following this thread since it started but I kept silent due to I already had faced this situation and I really trust hwbot's judgment.
I just wanted to say that I understand that Rbuass is really upset by seeing how bad it was for us to tell the truth and see that it had no importance at all. On the other hand I saw that hwbot evolved, that it had learned something and didn't stress (apparently) those guys the same way they needed to do with us.
I only expect that the truth always wins here and that every overclocker receive proper respect while no one proves anything against him.
Similar hardware in similar OSes will always seems to be similar, we have to face it. The community has to be honest and admit when something is wrong, that's the expected way.
I think with you guys in MOA it wasn't just having similar clocks, but rbuass had mentioned how it was almost impossible to get a 7970 lightning in Brazil at the time & he had to fight to get one. When you posted a score with a lightning as well it was like 'hey, wait a minute...'.
Don't think anyone doubted rbuass, but it made people wonder where your lightning might have come from.
The whole livestream thing might have been overkill, but nobody says anything about it afterwards so it did the job & sealed the deal.

I haven't had CB or CBB with the 680L yet, although haven't gotten much colder than -60 or so. A few minutes after I start pouring I keep running into issues with driver crashing whenever it switches power states. I can get to desktop every time but just can't get any benching done on it yet.
I'll have to see about the new bios, constant p0 state sounds like it will fit the bill.

He also does freeze things & overclock too, he may get a lot of boints running things at stock, but that isn't all he's about.
This thread should be left to die peacefully.

physx isn't on, but it is a vantage score...

WTF is this?
screenshot stealing. Punkx 1 is doing the same thing BTW.
http://hwbot.org/submission/2288734_
that would be nikose's screenshot

http://hwbot.org/user/punkx_1/ he has more like that

A few 7970 Lightnings just made it into stock here. Like they were just waiting for the qualifier to end....

Very nice indeed, great clocks man!
Hwbot could use a jaw-drop smiley...

Congrats guys, & good luck to all 3 of you in Taiwan!

Indeed Splave did great work all around, total domination. Congrats man!

I'm still trying, should be able to improve in 03, but so near & yet so far without a great 3d11 score. Card just doesn't want to play nice going over 1500 core.
-
Hopefully there aren't too many sandbagging, z77-gd55 just went to hardware heaven & no other msi boards on hand to play with today.
-
No ln2 for me until Thursday, hopefully early in the day before it's over & I get knocked down 20 places.
But still no MSI x79 board in sight, will likely get my ass kicked in 3d11. But still fun to try...

Very nice! 'i didn't find it. i needed something and viola it was there lol.' lucky....
-
Yep, just gotta get yourself similar systems, overclock a tiny bit & those points are yours. If dhenzjhen wants them back, he'll have to OC for it.
Simple.

I got my 3d06 points now. Is this fixed?
Don't think so, I just tried to recalculate one I subbed a few days ago, no luck yet.
-
This is a teammates new score/submission: http://hwbot.org/submission/2266660_
But his old score which was blocked http://hwbot.org/submission/2265220_ can't be deleted, recalculating isn't letting him get boints for his new sub.

seems undeleteable...

Looks like my scores will stand as they are, got some ln2 but the 1090t appears to be dead & I don't have any other AMD chips that will beat the scores I have in here already.

Dude, nice run!

I think everyone starts off with air/water, but then if you want to keep up & keep improving you pretty much have to get colder (that's why I started freezing stuff, it is a little disappointing to be doing well in a comp then get blown out of the water when the extreme coolers put up scores). Another option would be to have a competition with separated enthusiast/xtreme league rankings, but then that would need double the prizes, or split things up, like ud7 for winner of extreme, ud5 for winner of enthusiast, ud3 for random among both or something.
I'm sure most of us do this because we enjoy it, & would compete whether there are prizes or not, although prizes are nice & do give some more incentive to push harder.

It was the k10 stage, thank you massman & hwbot!
