Any thread in voltmod forums section just give's now You are not logged in or you do not have permission to access this page. .

If I'm a newbie user and want to learn something how to get more out of my hw - I must now register and login

All those talks and editorials, leagues and PR-releases about being more friendly to newcomers, and now we get this?

    Thanks. :(

    PJ applied magic fix. :battle:

  2. What is CLC?

Try just pullup for memory controller ENABLE pin (10k to 3.3v). Sometimes there is no pullup on card on powergood from GPU PWM IC, in this case you would need to add it.

It does not matter if you provide memory voltage, if GPU RESET is kept inactive due to power good wrong.

  3. that some nVidia cards could be unlocked from consumer to pro versions by just two resistors and other bios - and that was it.

Yea, it was ... oh wait, 15 years ago (GeForce2).

Since GeForce3 GPU silicon is fused at manufacturing/assembly process, and no bios/resistors would help to unlock it.

There is some software locks based on simple VGA name detection in some CAD programms, which easy to activate just by changing name in INF, but that's rather an rare exception , than possibility.

So in two words , try it and tell us your success, otherwise...neeext :D

  4. Say hi to that fil(th)y man.

I had few DIY SS systems and chillers 5+ years ago, not fancy production units :)

Just had an idea of doing something for hardcore 24/7 people, but seems there are none alive as of today :D

So product death declared due no target audience :)

  5. Well, since EVBOT having transition state currently, here's alternative solution for you, EPOWER people.

    intro_epower.jpg

Since controller accepts controls from PMBus, attached Raspberry Pi can talk to EPOWER and adjust voltages. Voltage range is 0.6 to 2.0V

Tested with Model B Rev2.0 (not plus), but should work with any Pi.

Details in this article for those who interested.

Try it, and let me know if any problem :)

Also old-school hardware-only way with trimpot resistor is covered too.

    :D

  6. I just would like to know are there many folks who have subzero for everyday rig, not for records/reviews work?

I know there were people in old ages which did run subzero systems for gaming/every day stuff, but are there any today?

Subzero meaning, at least a phasechange chiller. :D
