  1. It should for MA and File C/D atleast.
  2. At some point the original dll has to be replaced, no matter what your options to do it were. We will see down the road, when I have a compiled downloadable wrapper you're getting the first run The way I see it anything outside an error margin (lets say 5%) of what the wrapper finds is deemed questionable immediately. That brings us to the part where the wrapper knows what is legal and what is not. Option 1. Score is removed, tweak not shared, no points and user monitored for repeated offences. Option 2. Score is allowed, tweak is verified for legitimacy, points awarded, wrapper updated to allow it or not. No matter who you choose as 3rd party, it is still down to persons integrity, so it may aswell be HWBOT's staff. Any other takes on this? /rant I think I should dedicate more spare time to writing our own System Benchmark than trying to make a wrapper for an obviously poorly written benchmark (yes FM, you suck..or at least did in 2004).
  3. Bad news for those skipping ORB error 10... I've played more with fooling ORB into accepting modified dll's, it's all a matter of running the script at the proper time. Good news is that my wrapper is able to detect those files, so goodbye any method of fooling around with PCMark's files. Now it's down to Windows files and registry, grab your tools, err, apps! 4. Went the other way around. Thanks moose for clearing up!
  5. Funny thing is for the 2nd "way" Windows gives you the tool. No matter how much I work on the wrapper I still find ways to beat myself :\ Besides me and CN I dont recall any HWB staff using any of these tweaks. CN got it from me (after gluv already leaked it from me...) and I made it myself (good thing I keep Sent PMs). Care to explain?
  6. Like I promised, I improved my wordpad engine to read only until a new line \n\ is found instead of EOF. -EDIT: wrong screenshot lolz-
  7. =)) Epic K!
  8. Mr. Scott, do you think it will be wise to throw into the wild something like this? How will the results be moderated if tomorrow half PCM benchers start putting up 80K+ scores? Those with experience have a shadowy idea of what most of this arguable 'tweaks' do, those who don't just stop playing it. You're more than welcome to PM me if you're interested in any of the subtests, tho I am sure it's not the case.
  9. Yea %wise looks like a "cheat" indeed, but I can provide source anytime. To clear it up, im using a wordpad engine I wrote, since Microsoft can't write a decent one. Yes Web can be boosted even more indeed. I know, I said this couple of pages back Only problem is that you will get caught by the wrapper.
  10. Already in plan for next version, will work it out today probably 3D - fine, score impact should be next to none 2D - not fine for all benches since there could be a score impact.
  11. How about a LEGIT Text Edit Windows tweak?
  12. Ill send you the file and you can try it yourself Pifast is called without any commandline options, so you will have to set affinity/priority to the wrapper.
  13. Yea yea sure, TakeOwnership :wink:
  14. No, I've tested, default 31.62, wrapper 31.61. Even if it will affect, run it twice, just like you will do with regular pifast.
  15. Cheat-o-not? Will add a couple more features soon.
  16. Thanks. I wanted to make a web one too but seems someone took care TBH i looked at the source of 3D06 on elmor's page and it uses ROUND instead of FLOOR, so not sure if score will be 100% accurate. That is because ROUND rounds upwards anything past .5 (1.5 > 2.0) but FLOOR round downwards anything that isn't an integer (1.9 > 1.0 , 1.2 > 1.0, 2.0 > 2.0). nitpicking sorry
  17. Because not everyone has Excel installed on his bench rig this should come in handy. See attached pictures for a preview before downloading. Download link: http://tiny.cc/3dmc-con (v1.A) Source code: https://github.com/GENiEBEN/3dmcalc-con.git (PB/cc)
  18. I can fix that if needed. Always wondered why it was left so exposed lol.
  19. Thanks for your input, now that you mentioned it I tried and it's indeed getting boosted ~300ms. Will figure out something
  20. Hey guys, Just wanted to share a quick benchie I wrote today. Mind you this is first version, nothing is set in stone. Download link: http://tiny.cc/burstpi

  23. Same problem here lol, not sure why they limited the options on P4
