  1. The good, the bad and the ugly. The good (always talk about the good 1st!) – finally - after huge investment of time and $$$ - good storage scores! The bad – I killed two ud7s in the process . The ugly – I had 4400+ pixel shader at 50x then when I go cold and move up to 55, pixel shader drops to 3100 – this happened to me on both ud7 and now on ud4, what the heck! 2D graphics memory is bad but I knew that was going to happen due to the 6970 running at 8x when the iodrive is in the other slot. Still - good enough for #1 for the moment . Under the current rules - I still think 50K pcm05 is a doable do, my money is on Mr. Pro and probably sooner rather than later. Go Pcm05! Storage – acards, fusion-io iodrive SLC, 2xC30064s, boot drive was a little old x25-v (cross flashed from a Kingston 40).
  2. Great cooling job - boreas right? Great hdd gen use score, best I have ever seen.
  3. Well done! I will be trying both Q6600 and e6600 in the next month or so.
  4. Thanks guys, actually I expect this to get toped rather quickly. There is a lot of good pcmark competition these days. Mr Pro should be able to top this by 1k+ when he gets around to it.
  5. Great score! Can you get your SB or vga clocks any higher?
  6. ^^ so under this definition an ioxtreme iodrive is a single? ^^ what about a softraid of 6xacard with iodrive? So many variations.
  7. Denis, your score looks fine to me, transparent windows looks great!
  8. Thanks guys, I doubt my SB has it in her but someone will break 50k marks in this bench before the end of the year. Mr. Pro - if you go to the UD7 and 6970 - you might get there.
  9. I tried my cascade - @ -106 SB said she was too cold to come out and play - I will see if she likes dice better - sometime this next week!
  10. Also - can't forget! - Much thanks to Master Gluvocio and all the gurus at the XtremeSystems Storage Forum!
  11. Congrats - well done! Great score except you lost your web page rendering.
  12. Good morning, good run! Subscores?
  13. ^^ Thanks Mr sav! Also i think h/w raid and pcie should have their own catagories. h/w raid because of the cache onboard the cards. pcie because no sata protocol (on some or most?) to slow it down.
  14. so where is the submit button for AS SSD? is there a separate catagory for h/w raid cards and pcie cards?
  15. very good - concur.
