  1. ok understood re the cap - the cap is staying. Do you want to add something about - Multithreaded Test 2 - Text edit and image decompression. Mods allowed or no? If yes, what is allowed registry only? no changing the apps used?
  2. Checking just to make sure - the 220 start up cap is staying for now?
  3. Well done Mr. Honda! Great chip, great score!
  4. Nice job with this - lots of #1s and 2's - well done!
  5. +1 on Massman's new rules, +1 on do away with the 220 limit. And yes - SAV is right - we will see huge new scores very quickly. One positive - this might create new interest in the bench - bring in some of those that haven't tried it before?
  6. Did you use the mobo +/- to adjust clocks for each subtest? I think this is a really cool capability of this mobo!
  7. Well done Mr. Topdog! What did you use for storage? No futuremark link?
  8. Very nice Mr. Pro! I have been playing with this bench some lately also - I have a new storage toy to show in the next week or two.
  9. +1 with Mr. Scott, congrats Mr. Chispy! If this is your 1st one, yes there is a little lifestyle shock coming but you'll be fine! Come back and check on us from time to time!
  10. This is very true - seems like just two SSDs in R0 using the sandy bridge controller is all it takes to break this these days.
  11. Looks like a good run to me, web page rendering is high but we are finding new tweaks for this bench all the time these days - well done Mr Gluvocio - great run!
  12. Mr Chispy, I'm not sure but looks to me like maybe FM is not enforcing the 220 limit anymore anyway - see this one - http://3dmark.com/pcm05/3077474 probably ramdisk but a good example of over 220 any way.
  13. We built a wrapper around heaven right? Couldn't we build a wrapper around pcm05 and for example - have it report memory mapping to make sure ramdisk is not used?
  14. I strongly agree with Gautam and Pro - both provide good reasoning and sufficient justification to keep pcm05. I also believe we should update the rules IF it will help us moderate the bench. I agree that ram disks should NOTbe allowed -but don't we need better detection than just saying anything over 2000 in virus is ram disk?

  16. How do we show raided setups? Looks like crystaldiskinfo may not show these
  17. How do we submit an AS SSD run, its not on the submit page?
  18. Hey great idea! I'll let the XS storage forum guys know.
  19. Nice runs there Mr. Gluvocio, what video card and VC clocks did you use?
