  1. Try the manual way again. You shouldn't write "0x70" in the data field but only "70". "0x" is just indicating that the value is using hexadecimal base.

Ah, ok then. Tried that and step 2 worked fine. Step 3 gave the usual hard lock, so I took a photo.

  2. Sorry to hear about your board.

    New test version https://www.dropbox.com/s/sx26ahypqxv2njb/eVc%20161024.zip?dl=0 .

If it's still not working, make another reg scan but this time check the SMBus alternative.

You can also try these steps using "Send custom command" from the Menu.

    1. (Read VID) Enter Address 20 Register E7 and check "R/W Word", then press Read. Note down the value (should be something like 0x0070).

    2. (Write VID) Change Register to 21 (keep "R/W Word" checked) and enter the value you got (eg 0070), then press Write

    3. (Apply VID) Change Register to D2, uncheck "R/W Word" and enter value 01

Take screenshots etc in case things don't work. You can also attach the generated log file.

Hey, sorry about the delay, but have set it up and had another crack. Still getting a hard system lock when trying to apply a voltage. I also tried sending the custom commands, but it failed at the 2nd one. I've attached the reg scan and a screenshot of the settings used for it, plus a screenshot showing the error when sending custom command #2. Thanks

  3. Can you provide a CPU-Z validation?

Please try to make a submission with hwbot prime. I know it will fail on first try but I need this to link the device properly.

    Here's the CPU-Z validation.

    CPU-Z VALIDATOR

I tried running hwbot prime, not sure if it showed up for you?

haha, it went straight to the top of the front page. I went back and disabled points.

    Chilli-Man`s HWBOT Prime score: 4646 pps with a MT6575 1000MHz

  4. Try this. At least the readout and scan while monitoring should be fixed. I'm not sure why applying the voltage is failing (this was working before), but I've disabled a couple of settings to help iron out the issue.

Sorry this took a while. Had my mobo die.

I've attached another register scan. It was much faster this time and ran fine with monitoring enabled. Applying a voltage still crashes the system and the GPU won't display anything till the drivers are removed.

  5. The 060218 scan seems like it completed. Can you send me a screenshot of the .net framework error?

Yes, that's the one that completed. I just attached the other cause it had a different value showing up in it. error when device selected and monitoring enabled is attached.

  6.

Hi, I've attached the regscan. It crashed the first few times I tried with a .net framework error, till I started the regscan from 1 instead of 0 and also didn't select a device or enable monitoring. I've attached one of the scans from a crash as it's almost the same but has one different value show up a couple times. Thanks.

  7. Hi, I'm trying to use this on a Gigabyte 380x G1 Gaming. It has the NCP81022, and while I've figured out how to hook up the eVc to it I'm not getting any voltage reading in the software. I've selected the generic NCP81022 and I've got current and input voltage monitoring, but there's no output voltage in the monitoring. Trying to set the voltage locks everything up and I had to reimage windows. Any ideas?

  8. Solid run :)

@Subaru, I had problems like this on several boards, if turbo boost boot doesnt work I used workaround with making profile with k cpu with static multiplier like 40, this got max multi and bclk going for me at non k cpus for xtu. Other option is at least on Asrock for example to boot blck below 101 and raise the base clock in OS

Thanks websmile. That ram you sold me has been going well :)

To get the multi up, I'm booting in at max blck then using formula drive to up the multi.
