First, sorry to Martix,nothing personal at all and I don't do that to grab my cup back... I think it's result is affected by W8 RTC issue, see the low Physics, vga and cpu clock under mine, same drivers and I used clean and optimized OS (and bunnyextractionty cpu/ram btw). I agree with your results with CoreTemp, I tested the same way with HWMonitor and it's working like this. Can you make a test with a cpu without IHS, to compare with indium fixed IHS.

Nice idea, do you plan to test a CPU without IHS to compare ? I know it's risky with heavy pot but it will be interesting to compare results.

Still alive finally, i haven't removed the insulation since several months, melted ice has oxidized and shorted some components under. A helping toothbrush and go again. Thx for the vddmod link, gained 2mhz, try tomorrow for more.

I know this board, but this one has 1.5 year, to clock old cpu's and it's hard to find mod informations still online since 2003 Mine do 1.61v with 1.7v bios, old BH5 synchro with 3.7v vdimm,270.4mhz valid now, 273mhz but corrupted file. Lot of insulation, dod on chipset, watercool on the cpu, hope it survive...

If I remember it's by playing with the C-state and the Speedstep in the bios and after using the Asrock OC Tuner in windows to use "turbo" multi. It's really a E5620. Do you also have of ram ratio bug? I can't use other than 2/6 or 2/8, with an i920 on this mobo ratio are all ok. Thx
