I personally find it very demoralising that these changes keep happening, when I started benching I looked at where the goal posts were and set my targets accordingly then time after time new revisions have knocked me down, only once in 4 years have I moved upwards at one point I had over 1200 points after a revision I had over 200 points removed and knocked down in every category.
Why on a revision do all the places move around, all the places and points were gained under the current rules so why not those places and points stand and from the date of the revision then allocate the points to the new format?
I don't know how others think about this, even if I were to go upwards it is not good because I would have not earned that place, it's like changing the rules for the sake of it, which is not for the benefit of the members as a whole.

Hi mate you need to use CPU-z for the CPU memory and motherboard, you have done 3x CPU, sorry to bring you bad news I done this many times.

Maybe your bios file name is to long, keep it below 8 characters
Sorted it found if I took off the .BIN it works fine.

Been trying to downgrade to X8 file BIOS but keep getting error Not able to read BIOS file successfully.
Any idea's?

Thank you to mllrkllr88 we enjoyed working on this competition, obviously massive thanks to Gigabyte for the great competition and amazing prizes, and last but certainly not least was Websmile for his endless work to make the competition fair for everyone.

Is there a slow mode switch you may have moved by accident?
No I checked all those, it works normally if I disable temp monitoring. Wondering if something has gone wrong with a sensor?

After turning it off and it was running fine, then on booting my CPU is set at the lowest multiplier 8X I have tried 3 different CPU's I have 4 SSD's with different OS's on them it does it on all of them, I have flashed the BIOS and installed a different MEI driver.
Nothing I have done will fix it, the only way to stop it doing this is to set the CPU to ignore temperature monitoring.
Using water cooling never been insulated no water leaks.

Well not sure about the frequency or artifacts as y best score is slightly higher than the fur test but at very low MHz on the card absolutely no artifacts ran smoothly but my score is 18 pts higher raymarch than the fur so I think it can be higher without any glitch for sure.

As far as I know there is no AVX disable on the MOCF, I could be wrong though.

^Anything under 0c will be reported as 0c and then an ln2 user could say they are on phase
Gosh so many ways to cheat, is there a absolute way to make sure the readings shown are truly what they are?
In the spirit of the competition it would be better if people can compete on true level playing field.

Now you will think I'm nuts asking this but I feel strongly about it.
Why can't people on DICE and Phase use temp monitoring software and run in ambient?
These guys have little chance against LN2 and it would enable a lot more people to compete which is good?
Opinions please.

Thanks to Gigabyte for the great prizes and also to the mods on here who without we would not be able to do any of this. It's a lot of intense work just for the benefit of the community.

I have been through many revisions since 2007 and each time I have regrouped and got myself back up, I have no problem I can do it again but do I want to when the goal posts keep changing?
Over all the revisions I have dropped around 400 points and I forget how many places I have dropped.
I don't like this :
"If your gonna sit on top #2 with a big bunch of useless points & do next to nothing afterwards."
You know nothing of my circumstances this is THE only time I have not benched almost 7 days a week, I have had some time off for reasons I do not want to discuss on here.
What I don't like is that other benchers gain hundreds of places for doing nothing, I know of 2 members one of whom has not benched for 4 years yet moves up many places and another who has not benched for almost 2 years who will be in the top 20, how crazy is that?
I read the rules and play to them but when the rules keep changing I cannot understand why there is the need to do so?
I shall carry on and play to the new rules no problem for me but how many other good benchers will we lose this time? Every time this happens we lose members that is not good for HWBOT.
