    nice chip sir, it happeans to me too that q6600 on R.ex with multi-core disabled shows 3 core. You should try to set 1x / 2x core by msconfig-->boot-->advanced options

    dear moose, now I understand why your disk-scores are better... 4gb cache, I've got max. 2gb. Maybe cache program is a sort of ram-caching. Slow down XP startup, sir ! Limit is 220.
