It mean that the mboard dosn't work with cold, namely with temperature higher -80°. I have blu screen and the system crash. With other Maximus v Gene i push the cpu to 6.6GHZ with temperature of -180°.

Hy boys, I want to change my ASUS MAXIMUS V GENE because it don't like cold to bench under LN2. With temperatures higher -80° the system crash and I can't push my 3770K to the max frequency. What can I buy? An other MVG or a GIGABYTE Z77X-UD4H for the same price ? What is better ? Thanks

Quick test on LN2 batch 3218B976... 6.683mhz Pi 1MB and 6.570mhz 3DM benchable 4c/4t... I try next week 2c/2t

I have clean the pin socket of my Gene V and the cpu now work, but not always. I think it's contacs problem, but I do RMA. The mboard isn't damage.

No boys, there aren't four contatcs on the rear of cpu. I mount the cpu on mboard now and it don't boot. Tomorrow I try it with other mboard, but i'm sure that it's damaged.

I have try the cpu but anything. The mboard boot but I have error code 55 and sometimes 00. I have try an other cpu, a 2600K and the mboard ASUS MAXIMUS GENE V boot and reboot always. Have the 3770K killed also the mbaord?

But there is 3 pin contacts removed if you see good. This compromised the cpu? This image is more clear

With my 2X2GB KIT I use 1.65V...If yours aren't stable you can try 1.675V or 1.7V...Chip Micron scale with higher frequency..

Can you try to set the ram to 1066 MHZ Cas 8-9-8-30 1T ? My old CRUCIAL BALLISTIX TACTICAL can reach theese frequency. You can so improve the result..

Your ram don't love cold probably. But yur Hynix are better than Qimonda

I have same problem with ZOTAC 8800GT with ice liquid cooling. Memory go only 954MHZ...My are Qimonda
