Hey, thank you i borrowed the sticks from @ground1556. in his p5q deluxe they did 690MHz and 720MHz 5-5-5-15 at 2.3 Volt in single channel respectively . I tried to run them in dual channel with several boards (P5Q Pro, EP45 UD3R) but when the cpu is close to maxxed (still stable, just high FSB, around the 500 mark) the sticks couldnt go over 590MHz. When lowering FSB from ~490FSB to ~420FSB they suddenly could do 690MHz 5-5-5-15 2.3V SPi8M stable in dual channel. I then tried to up FSb to 500, drop the mem multi down so itd be at 666MHz with same timings and voltage and the system didnt even post. After that i tried to see with what FSB each stick can boot on its own and i stopped testing at ~520 FSB. i dropped the multi down so the mem ran at 520MHz so, my conclusion is, that (this) ddr2 cant clock as high with a higher fsb have you observed similar things?

I picked the perfect day to bench subzero as the humidity was at 94% that day. I didnt properly insulate the back of the board and water was forming near the solder points for the ram. half an hour longer and id have some nice shorts there. Comment length is restricted? really?

my 4930k is spi32m stable with 3000MHz Cl12 single sided MFR in quad channel. that ram starts to scale negativley at ~1.95V which is required to get over 3050 so i dont know how high it can go. i get higher scores with quad channel psc at like 2200mhz (which is where those sticks kinda max out) so i want better psc for benching Ill pm you about the ram

Just saw that you edited your response with the OC results for the PIs if you had two more of those sticks id be interested but ideally id want two of the same kits (so 4 sticks total). i appreciate your offer tho

Hey, yeah for x79 benching specs as above, they should be roughly in that performance span i already have six sticks of dominator gt rated at 1000MHz 8-9-8 but those dont do the 2400MHz PSC tight profile on air so i want some better sticks. Edit: Had the wrong timings in my head, corrected them from 7-8-7 to 8-9-8

Hey, I'm looking into DDR3 OCing on lga1151 however there is basically no info out there. Due to you having almost all the records for the highest end ddr3 1151 board out there, I'd love to get some input on how well skylakes imc and ddr3 go together. Have you ever tried to push more than 2400MHz? Thanks!
