Catch it, guys
Killkernel, I've developed mine with CoffeTime.
Added 4 microcodes:
Skylake
KabyLake
CoffeLake (with i9 9900K P0)
and last one for R0
Tested last weekend and everything works just perfect with 8C/16T.
Thanks for that.
How's the overclocking?
Is it compatible with the 9900KS?
What are the VRM temperatures like at 5 GHz? As they are 6 phase unlike the Z170Ms 4 phase.

Yeap, I've heard that 8700K works just fine.
I'm using 9900K P0, so seems like should be fine, but it's not.
Any updates?

Guys, I need 100% working BIOS for Z170 OCF with 9900K P0.
7.40B above isn't so great IMHO.
Got 7.51G on MOCF and it's beautifull!! Want one like that on OCF :))
Whats wrong with the 7.40B with the Z170 OCF?

Yes, I did. I shorted the two pins with #2 pencil and isolate others with tapes. Is 9700k works on your Z170 OCF with this bios? I just want to know if the bios works or not before I do any soldering. Thanks!
11/23/18 updates:
I tried the same protocol as before but this time I am using Nick's bios on Z170 OCF with 8700k and it worked!
Can you try the 9700k with Nicks BIOS?

Hey guys, has anyone tried 9700k on Z170 ocf with this bios? Mine didn't work. The system won't boot. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!
BS: my “me fw version” is 11.6.0.1126.
Did you do this to the CPU? If you have then you probably have to solder your motherboard.

Officially non of the z390 supports win7, not even microsoft does anymore but you can find results made with both boards on w7, so doable if im not wrong.
Guys Formula Drive ver:3.0.94 works fine for you with 8 core on w7? For me multi can be changed only downwards, not changing on the way up, anybody has same issue?
You need to install a USB card for Z390.

Please stop spamming your request in this thread. Check out z390 taichi ultimate or phantom gaming 9 if you need a full ATX mobo for 9900k.
Is the Z390 Taichi Ultimate compatible with Windows 7?

Is it possible to have a an ATX G Bios with TJ Max of 115 degrees? It is an option for the 9900k.

I dont even know what secure erase is sorry haha
Damn. Secure Erase is used to erase SSD before formatting. Do you know how to copy a feature from one BIOS to another?

it was for kaby Lake/Skylake. I tried activating Secure Erase using AMIBCP but it doesn't show up. The BIOS Asrock gave me is called 7.40B.

Some VRM and OCP enhancements nothing crazy though
Any chance on an ATX BIOS with Secure Erase? Its the only missing feature in this motherboard.

How hot do you think the VRMs would get on air at around 5 GHz with the 9900k? There have been alot of reports on Z370 and even Z390 motherboards not having adequate VRMs for the 9900k.
-
Is the VRM heatsink required on air running the 9900k at 5 GHZ? What temperatures would you see in that situation on the VRM at room temperature?

ASRock z170 MOCF lives on Coffee Lake Mods
in Skylake/Kaby Lake/Coffee Lake (-X) (Z170/Z270/Z370/X299) OC

Has this been tested with 8C/16T?
