Very good result bro !
-
Thanks to everyone.
This system can be pushed more, it's very stable. unfortunately the software can't set more than 315mhz fsb. I'm trying to remove that lock..
-
The same mainboard as before, an Hp dv6000 mainboard with pll-vpll-vid digital and analog vmod, , But I've changed the CPU: From the Celeron 900 to the Celeron 925. The same CPU but with higher frequency, Running at 3.63GHz
-
:D Tanto questa mainboard era guasta e inutilizzata da tempo.. è già un miracolo che sia ripartita con una semplice scaldata
-
Nothing to do obtain a better score: This clock generator can't give more than 315mhz FSB Clock..
-
Thanks Andrix.
Yes, it's the dv6000. I'am attempting to vmod the chipset
-
The limit seems to be the FSB (at 300mhz), so It may overclock more If I overvolt also the Chipset, an Intel PM965.
The CPU has "Penryn" 45nm core, does anyone know what is the FSB Wall of that cpu ?
-
Very good.. What Driver version ?? 9.4 ?
-
I have unmounted the laptop to check the PLL IC chip, but I see a bad surprise: the PLL ic chip does not allow FSB clock change, so no overclocking. If overclocked, that celeron M Conroe based chip will give very good score.
-
It as good stability for 3dmark06. at this settings never hang up with 3dmark06 cpu test.
-
I haven't checked if it can be pushed more, but I will check in the future, if the ambient temperature of the room go lower.
-
The Cooler is the stock cooler of the MSI Twin Frozr HD 5850.. adapted to fit on this card
-
Thanks to Your CPU.. runs very well !
-

mhhmm.. no. I don't know all the tricks of that bench!
-
:D I can't believe you've overclocked also this CPU This is your first Celeron test !
-
at 4.5GHz It score more than my Sandy@4.9Ghz
-
I have tryed also 5.05GHz with 4c/4t (without Hyperthreading) But I score 500 less points ! So I didn't try 5.1GHz 2c/2t. Seems that the difference is in the nature test! In the nature test I have more fps is running with less MHz and 4c/8t. Very strange

That Ballistix RAM is not the some that I use in the gamer PC. It's the economic model (without LED), rated for 1333MHz 7-7-7-21 However it seems to OC well

I changed the CPU to this small office PC, switching from the G6950 to an Core i3-530, Overclocked it and tightened the RAM's timings, Cooled by a cooler Master Gemini II M4 with a Phobya fan. I'm Very surprised by this small and economy mainboard (the MSI H55-E33)
-
It's better to not play so much with that bench !
-
Yes, I think it's better to be careful with this bench.. It may be a CPU-killer bench
-
good strike !

Thanks to everyone / Grazie a tutti
Strunkenbold: This is XP 32bit. Seven 64bit does not seems to score better. May the XP 64bit score better than the 32 bit ?
