Just download MSI afterburner and start playing about with the clocks, you'll soon find what your card is capable of.

Holy S**t, you weren't joking about the 6.6GHz.
GG everybody, nothing more to see here.

I wonder if he misses having hair?

I quite like the idea of having more money in the game. Gives people a lot more motivation to push for the better scores since they will have an actual physical reward for their work and will in turn lead to a more competitive league across more hardware.

Yeah xp might have issues, run it without the shortcut. Can't wait for that os to die in flames.
That is devil talk, wash your mouth out with soap son.

I was talking to him whilst he was doing this and I think the VGPU was about 1.6V, but the voltage was all over the shop and the card had massive VDroop issues.
@Websmile, I think he just modded this card since he already had it from a mining rig that he took apart.

Thread resurrection....
4770k ES, after reading the above i gather with 4770k being current 4 core, ES isn't allowed in OC? If that's correct (?) would it change if there were to be a Haswell refresh?
4770K not allowed now no and I would hazard a guess that it won't be allowed during the refresh either due to the fact that Haswell would still be the latest architecture

I have had issues where the folder doesn't use the correct link for the wPrime benchmark but I assume that is because I'm running windows XP and I'm sure it'd work fine on Vista or above? I believe it's to do with the admin rights.

That upsets me.
WHY DO THAT?
Drugs.

The L3014 is listed as a Conroe CPU on HWBot but I'm not sure how correct that actually is since it looks a lot more like a Wolfdale CPU to me. The reason I say this is because the chip is built on a 45nm process, it includes SSE4.1 which the E6*** series didn't and it also has 3MB L3 Cache per core like wolfdale does as apposed to the 2MB on the conroe CPU. Even the Q1 08 release date makes it seem like a wolfdale CPU.
Just curious and open to discussion

For sale I am getting rid of some of my 775 CPUs that either didn't meet my binning standards or are just surplus to my needs now. I have a very brief overclocking history for all CPUs and if you want to see it then feel free to ask. None of the CPUs have been abused at all when overclocked and were simply tested for max FSB on the lowest possible multiplier.
What I have here is ;
4 x Celeron 420 - £4 each
2 x E2140 - £5 each
8 x E2160 - £5 each
5 x E5200 - £7 each

As Kenny said, a faster reaction is much better for CPUs with no cold bug. I've been conaidering getting a Venom for my AMD cpus since they are apparently meant to be perfect for full pot benching.

I think you need to put up a price to follow the rules.
Edit : Thanks, I think that's a good price too. Not too easy to come by and I'm sure someone on here will snap it up from you

ASRock board sold pending payment.

Well game over, time to sell my 145s

Glad to see you back on the UD3P :)Is there any more to come or is this the limit of the chip?

Ok i tell Short before TW begins, move mouse to upper left corner and dont move during run
Going to play around with an E2160 later and will give it a go then. If it works then I owe you big time. Cheers for sharing and saving my wrists

Would also like to know about this.
Custom ram dividers?
in General overclocking
Posted
Is it possible to edit a bios to allow a CPU to run at lower ram dividers than those already available in the BIOS or are the limitations in place due to what the IMC is capable of?
Just wondering as I am wanting to try something different soon if it's actually possible.
