  2. Although it certainly would reward the teams that do a lot of promotion and helping each other and generally manage themselves the best. Currently, teams stacked with inactive members and even entirely inactive teams can maintain their positions atop the rankings just with legacy points from inactive members. Might be an interesting shake up if even members that haven't submitted in, 2 years?, were removed from the team rankings.... OCN would take a large hit for sure, but would certainly make it a more dynamic ranking

Not a bad idea at all!

  3. I talked to @Der8auer in Poitiers and told him I will delid my chip, and try to remove the glue and to fill ALL the space between IHS and die with Kryonaut.

Well, I had a crack at -160, warm up and try again. No crack afterwards and benching full pot for 2 hours. Chip is alive and well. So cleaning the glue had no negative impact for me. I used MSI Z170A Xpower.

  4. IMO the leagues should stay as they are. There are competitions based on leagues. How they will be done if leagues are changed?

HWBot needs to solve the chiller issue without relying on people's honesty, but on a dedicated trusted software. Only then, the competition will bring back the adrenaline. If you manage to deal with registering the temps and clocks during the benchmarks, the real skilled overclockers will raise and the beginners will get more addiction.

On the other hand, a resident software may ruin the score. Let's take SPI32M 5G for example. With all the tweaks involved, a software that uses some memory will probably hurt the result. Unfortunately, not using the software will give many a reason to cheat in a way that can't be seen with naked eye.
