  1. air safe ? i think not,all people that killed their haswells apparently without reason ,all used 2.1Vccin+ on air. why do you need 2.2 vccin on air anyways?multiple tested chips here, all performed best when vccin was vcore+0.45-0.5V.on air you it means 2.0-2.05 vccin is more than enough.
  2. had one like yours,5 ghza 1.48 32M,did 5600 on dice for 32M,with 1.7V I would not go cold with it...
  3. i meant i blunnyed my best retail with 1.52 on air,it does 5200 and 5000 vantage with 1.47
  4. I dont' know what you do to the poor cpu's but my experience with haswell is positive. had about 6 retails, all tested with 1.5V+ on air,no problems. Best retail: air 1.5V 2 cores 2001,4c8t for some vantage, fine. Took it on dice for 12+ hours: voltage from 1.6-1.7 3d+spi,-67 idle,-58 huge load(intel xtu).No degradation, absolutely nothing.Cache voltage 1.65,vccin 2.15. Took it back on air,it runs as day 1.It's either me i got a tough bastard accepting punishment with ease,or ...what?
  5. New score with psc on dice: ek pot for mem+dice is good combo,-52 under 32M run with 2.15V!
  6. I see no problem in that, hero is targeted to gamers more than ln2 benching.Good work on the review!
  7. Bull you got some magic PSC other there, can't wait for seeing your results on haswell
  8. Ran some Micron PFJ on ivy bridge with 2.2 for exteneded periods, hell i forgot the platform running and went in town, woke up next day to see it was still on.Ofc no damage.Haswell tinkering with 1.9-2V on air,no biggie, guess this IMC fear is because of Nehalem bad experiences,we are already 3 generations after that ...
  9. should be juat enough on air,on cold i heard that 2.3 is good and they die fast at 2.6
  10. here is you go vivi,i think with proper sticks and tweaking optimal temperature and a health load of voltage DDR3-3000 9-12-12 is doable.Performance should be somewhere in 2600 cas 6 psc land, not bad, miles ahead of this damn MFR's....
  11. update here also 5.58.797 http://hwbot.org/submission/2401283_
  12. twcl huge performance hit is when tcwl is higher than tcl(CAS).when we speak about cas 11 tcwl 8is fine, pretty sure huge gains will not be seen also max benchable MHZ will go down....
  13. Hello there,i am selling one kit of ripjaws 2200C7 based on x-series psc.I don't know exactly the IC number as the kit has never been opened up or benched on cold.Reason i am selling these is because i have another couple of memories lying around and i still need to get some damn MFR Anyways, here is what they can do.I binn/test memory only in bench conditions,so very tight timings and high freq, not interested in twcl8 as you can see. Therefore they can do DDR3-2600 8-12-7 twcl 6 and ultra-tight secondaries and tertiary with 1.89.Also have a nice TRCD wall, they can boot, enter windows and run 1M with 8-11-7,so this kit is pretty promising for cold. Bear in mind that i have a high ambient here(26-27 degrees) so you will most likely get better results. Kit is in excellent shape, comes with unused fan ,original box and my original invoice from memoryc.com(lifetime warranty). I can ship worldwide but i would prefer EU for obvious reasons. However just shoot me a pm and maybe we can work something out. Price is 80E+shipping,accepted paypal,wu. Best regards!
  14. any of you benched 8 gb mfr modules?Granted they won;t reach single-sided speeds, but there must be some good modules in the wild ... ?
  15. http://hwbot.org/submission/2400611_andreyang_xtu_core_i7_4770k_1480_marks There we go,lucky draw ftw
  16. you can ship prize to andre yang already ,game over,go home ppl
  17. Waste of time, nothing can match ln2 cooled 2600+ C6 psc and bbse.Maybe samsung 3000 9-12-12 in theory because practically highest benchable freq i saw was splave 2933
  18. Not sure what you mean, highest MHZ or highest efficiency?Cause single-sided memory scores so low it's not worth the effort.8 GB double-sided MFR high-binned should be interesting to see how they perform...
