  3. I think it isn't a good CPU, because best of my crappy CPUs could run Pi 32M at 4500MHz with 1.15V and it was too much to reach a good clock. For 5000 I had to set 1.39V. I think Splave's great CPUs can run @4.5 with 1.0V

  6. lol. Did you try to change motherboard? And did anybody try to remove HS and change thermal grease? Will it help with LN2? I remember that many people tried to do it on Ivy and just der8auer had profit from this operation. But now for overclocking on air it helps very much.
  7. I tested about 70-80 Sandy and no one couldn't run 5700 MHz But after that, when milestone of SB was ending I bought 2500K from user in my city which could 5900+ MHz. That man just bought one SB and had big luck ))
  8. I gave as much details as never ))) Usually I define minimal requirements for CPU which I try to find. For 3770K they were: 5000MHz and 1.3V boot windows (doesn't matter how many cores and threads I used), if cpu couldn't do this I rejected it. Now I add 4500MHz test and LinX test for best of the crap )) But all CPUs will be rejected if they won't be able to boot Windows at 5000MHz and 1.3V. So if I wrote something like that : " I tested 22 CPU's and no one of them didn't but at 5000MHz" it would be better(didn't post batch, Vcore for 4500MHz and etc)?

They were all crappy )) 4770K L314B511 1964 4500 MHz 1,21V SuperPi 32M 4900 didn't boot 1,35V 4770K L314B511 2101 5000MHz 1.38V SuperPi 32m passed 2c/2t 4500 1.249V LinX 4770K L314B511 1788 4500 MHz 1,17V SuperPi 32M 4900 didn't boot 1,35V 4770K L314B511 1491 4500 MHz 1,17V SuperPi 32M 4900 didn't boot 1,35V 4770K L314B511 3223 4500 MHz 1,19V SuperPi 32M 4900 didn't boot 1,35V 4670K L310B440 2491 Malay 4500 SuperPi 32m 1.2V 4900 didn't boot 1,35V So at this moment I've tested 22 CPUs and just one could boot WinXP at 5000MHz on water
  11. What is the max freq for 3D(2D)? I got cpu that can do 32m with the same voltage.

  14. Didn't understand the main idea )) I couldn't understand it for Pro OC League, so I can't understand it now. First, what does the competition give for community(OC League, enthusiast), what does it give to me personally? Try to explain: I do test when it possible, with hardware that I could find(buy, take for rent etc), Benchmarking it's not my work, so if I have a time and good hardware I do test them, if not - I don't test, pretty simply. I test what I want: 2D or 3D doesn't really matter. If you will provide new rules I have to do test that you write down in rules, right? So it will restrict my freedom in my hwbot activity IMHO. Sorry for my bad English, it's hard to explain my point of view.
  15. I didn't mean degradation I meant cpu themp. This cpu is hot at 1.35V ))) I can't imagine what temp will be at 1.5V ))
  16. I think it's a big voltage for air, or watercooling. I didn't try to set Vcore higher than 1.4V.
