Thanks for your reply,
Yes.
I named it exactly as written in the guide. ( XP.iso )
Have tried several iso's. Stripped ones as well as a full one.
Even build a new one with nlited.
All gave me no joy.
Where shoul I look ?
In the direction of the iso or some other direction ?
did you actually label it XP.iso in the name or are you listing iso as the file extension. I know this sounds so dumb but at the beginning I accidentally named it xp.iso. I know it sounds silly but it could happen. Otherwise I am not exactly sure. Also some usb drives just don't work right, my 32gb microcenter usb 3.0 drive just doesn't work no matter what I try, new one works great

Hi guys.
I am trying to build a usb stick to install xp with, on the extreme.
I followed the steps in the guide. And I am at the point where I am ready to fire up the usb and start loading the os into the ram.
But when I am selecting the first step of installing (install windows xp txt mode) it gives me an error. Error 15. It says file not found.
What am i doing wrong ?
I am hoping one of you is able to give me some pointers to sort this out.
Thanx in advance.
did you make sure to label the iso exactly like in the guide XP or XP64, I also had trouble with a very stripped iso but most work great.

Awesome score, I was hoping it meant unlocked dual core

Yes it´s look like 580L power section , but pwm pcb traces are a bit different , but should be no problem to make it working , also i had here 2x580L , i can you helped if you want!
you should pay attention to POR(power on reset) module from pwm , that is the key to activated this pwm , also this time MSI implemented the "power state input for load" function ... i spend some time to find the right PSI pin to enable al phases ( see the leds)
i waiting the dip switches to make VID mod ( 0.1v ; 0.2v and 0.4v) to pass over all protection and then i ready:D
ya I might take you up on it, it looks so interesting and must be an amazing feeling when done. Your cut was so clean, I need some better tools

@PureBlizz / @Strong Island - The Signature you have seen might have been only on 1 prototype that was passed among overclockers and they signed it to make it special ( Julius / Jakub / FlankerZ ) but indeed the official version do not have signature on it.
@MR\. Horse - Please do so, the fact that we open the design is for anyone to build upon, improve the design or for people with CNC to experiment with it. As a respect for the designers and work done to bring this to life, don't sell them.
I'm sorry, I was totally joking, I was being sarcastic because I couldnt believe that he was asking if he can make a cheaper design based on your work and files and then actually sell them. it blew my mind a little bit, seemed very rude. And then to scoff at the time it took to create, just shows what kind of person we are dealing with.

I tasked Pieter for this question, I fear you are too late though - maybe I am wrong
ok thanks, it took me so long to find a decent cpu, might be better off, will be hard to get everything ready in 6 days, just didnt realize about the cutoff date
-
Can we still buy a ticket, I didnt realize there was a cutoff date for paying, was trying to make sure I had a decent cpu, should have just payed anyway, the button to pay is not there anymore

It's just you man.
wow that's so weird, I guess my chrome has a virus or something, because it doesn't go to the forum, only if I save a favorite in a specific category. also cant see chatbox
Switched to ie and it works. Thanks for letting me know, I cant believe I thought it was hwbot, been like this for a month on all my devices using chrome.

does it come with your signature

3600 C16 B-Die, a good kit that runs above 4133 12-11 50/51 on AIO CPU (No cold IMC), tried all I mentioned above and also tried 3 different CPUs with good IMCs (All run 4133 12-11), but can't go higher than 4360MHz. Like I said, I reached that frequency even at C16, but cant go higher at any timings.
Using 1.25 VCCIO, 1.35 VCCSA, both PLL voltages at 1.25v, and like I said before, vDimm from 1.6v to 1.9v didn't change anything.
did you try auto on vccsa and vccio
-
is everyone still having trouble going to the forum from the main site or is it just me? Also the sidebar and chat is gone right? Just want to make sure it's not just me.
-
Any tips for max memory clock? I can't get above 3370, I get that clock with any VCCSA and VCCIO in 1.2v and 1.35v range, any vDimm between 1.6 and 1.9v, and even timings from C16 to C31, tried different mem multipliers and also couldn't go higher.
Most 2nd timings and all 3rd timings are auto, maybe that's the problem?
Leaving on auto shouldnt be the problem, this board is really nice and easy with auto and the profiles.
Did you try any of the memory profiles, what memory are you using?

Thanks Strong!
cpu standby = pll bandwidth = vccpll?
2.78v..can't be vccpll...can it?
cpu pll = standby & termination
vccpll = bandwidth
cold bug killer = core pll
so yes level 6 bandwidth is 2.8v which is what I use on Asus, actually I have moved down to 5. Nick said leave vccpll 1.4v unless you cant run full pot, then raise higher, I went up to about 1.8v vccpll on Asrock but higher should be safer if safe on asus, but i dont think it's necessary

well hey if your stupid then I am right there with you, haha. I guess I was over thinking it at the time, I knew it was the file extension but was trying to be too perfect.
