Got a sub blocked yesterday for realbench V2 by Christian Nay because I was using win 10. Funny there aren't any rules for this sub yet but still got blocked. I think while HWBOT decides to ban win 8 or newer version it will have a negative impact on trying to recruit new members to the world of overclocking. Imagine you are interested in overclocking but your rig(s) are all setup with win 8, 8.1 or 10 but then you figure out you cant sub any benches except firestrike and xtu unless you downgrade to win 7 or lower or have to buy SSDs to have dedicated bench drives. I know most benches benefit from older OS but I can't see new recruits wanting to change to an older OS from their everyday rig. Wouldn't it be better to get people addicted by letting them use win 8 or newer, find out others have better scores, and them maybe incourage them to try older OS/tweaking to get them addicted to overclocking? I think this issue needs to be address soon as running 7-8 year old OS's is quite lame for valid subs. A lot of folks (including me) submit scores without tweaking the rig like crazy and I would like to submit scores using my 24/7 rig running win 10. Sorry for the rant but just felt like sharing my opinion on the matter.

I went through over 20 retail 5960x and the best ive seen for a 5960x is 4.925ghz on ambient temp water of around 22C. Pshyco sold a 5.0ghz 5930k on water recently but ive never seen another one like it. Not sure what temps he was running tho. http://forum.hwbot.org/showthread.php?t=146440

Includes original boxes and accessories. I was able to do 2800 cl9 using the z97 OCF with nick's 2800 cl9 profile at 2.03V using 2 random sticks of 4. Ran 4 sticks on a ASUS Rive and rivbe motherboards using stock settings of 2400mhz cl9-11-11-31 @1.65v for months. I was able to do a cinebench R15 run at 4.5ghz @ 1.3V but certainly not 24/7 stable at those settings. Selling since these are not the overclock i'm trying to reach. Both were tested for less than 20 minutes each so they are practically new. These are retail cpus therefore fall under intel's 3 year warranty. DECIDED TO KEEP i7 5930K that does 4.7 ghz with 1.3V and 2,05V input in Cinebench R15 for DECIDED TO KEEP shipped in Canada or US (please contact me for international shipping). I was also able to get cache over 4.65 GHz on the RVE and around 4.75 GHz using the SOC champion motherboard using 1.35V. I can bench firestrike physics at 4.9 GHz @ 1.45V (2.05V input). max I was able to do on cinebench r15 was 4.8 ghz at 1.45V and 2.05v cache for cinebench R15. My watercooling setup including 2x MO-RA 3 Pro radiators. Please note your results may vary depending of your setup and cooling. All these cpus were benched under ambient water temp only, no extreme cooling.
