The solution to 389 posts of "you're an evil corporate bitch" is quite easy:
- Team League = as it is now
- new PowerTeam League = only best scores count
This way you can see the team thrust in the normal league and the true quality (assuming quality equals higher score) in the PowerTeam League.
with that Rev4 sounds okay for me, but waiting for a beta view
short question about EL and XOL. did i understood it right, that all user, beside UFL benchers, are in the EL and XOL and the ranking in this league is depending on the results and cooling method. for example. i bench mostly with air so high rank in EL but somtime some dice scores. so the dice scores count for XOL so that i raise my rank in XOL with subzero benching or can i be only in one league?
and how to proof subzero benching? not that someone benches with dice or SS and put it in the air categorie. with older CPU it is hard to detect. please think about that. may just put El and XOL togehter

I bench for my team not myself..
total agree. there are many bencher there can't battle in the overclockers league so they search for an other goal - to push the team, but this motivation can be destroyed thru rev4.
and why is there already a new rev? the break from rev 2 (best in my eyes) to rev 3 was gigantic and now the most of the benchers has adapted but leave it a time so. you are not the formula one, you must not change the rules every year.
if you want to avoid hardware sharing just say "please attach a picture of your card/cpu and a note with the nickname". you can't total avoid hardware sharing but in this sports it is difficult. but to penalize the small benchers by deprive the motivation to bench for the team is the wrong way
-
apology accepted and i'm not resentful. you are a good bencher but next time please contact me directly

so close to the first. good job
-
very impressive!
-
really really good job

man 1,8V under air you must be crazy, but good job
-
really really nice

no i mean the ranking of the team( average of the top 10) in every benchmark. so that you can see which team is the best in superpi or sisoft. is this in this rev update or will i come back in a update?
-
If I visit a page for a specific CPU or GPU, it defaults to CPUZ or 3Dmark01 when I click on the 2d or 3D rankings. However, if I want to check some other benchmark, and I click on wPrime/AM3 (or whatever), and open up some interesting result, and I press back to view the list I get redirected to the CPUZ/3Dmark01 rankings no matter what rank I viewed the last time.
yeah that is a little bit annoying.
are there teamranking for each benchmark like in rev2? and than where?

just use DDR2 oder DDR3. this is the typ of RAM the bot wants to know

I don\'t find any Information about the Pentium 3 450MHZ Coppermine Slot1 on the intel Website than on cpu-world.com . May this is a readout problem from CPu-z and the original CPU is an Pentium 3 600EB Slot1, which has also a multiplier of 4.5.
-
How ... did I miss that.
I suppose the difference will be quite noticeable?
i suggest a score about 2050. good core but weak ram - i know this problem
-
i need a ti 4600 my medion ti 4200 has sh*ty ram and the other ti 4200 has a sh*ty core - i need an combination of both
-
What about a combination of rev3 and rev2? For 20 or less results the rev2-Point-System and everything above using the new system.
So everything would be fine. Popular hardware will be rewarded much and unpopular also a little bit but not too less....
very good idea
Lippokratis had a couple of sli/cf scores (not THAT many, but probably quite valuable in rev. 2 because of the bug that HAD to be fixed, as it was rewarding 3d-benchers with WAY too much boints than they really should have had).i had 2 multi GPU settings there were only 20 points not more i'm more the cpu bencher
what is when some benchers making more than one submission in one benchmark of one hardware - so that the number of submission raises while there are not more competitioners
what is with a quad core cpu where i disable 3 cores - is this counting as a single core in wprime? or in others ways - can i bench with a quad core all of the wprime ranking underneath?
-
at my profile the global points for wprime 1024 2x weren't calculated to my global points.

you call us ignorant, yet when we ask feedback ONE month ago, nothing.
we post URL to test and dev server, ask for feedback, nothing.
now "everybody" hates rev3.
going from rev1 to rev2... same discussion, over and over again.
a fantastic idea starting a testserver at chrismas holiday when everybody is sitting in front of there pc and not making things with there family
wait for the days after january 1st when all the other benchers are back from there holidays
when your have the next changes to come, post it when the futbol championship is - then you will also not getting any criticism
by the way the testserver was buggy
-
try to say something about the others things i said in my posts not just answer one single point.
on this rev it is possible that 400 submisiion of unoverclocked hardware are making more points than 100 submmision of overclocked hardware. more submission doesn't meen competition it just means that many peole use this hardware
-
If there's no competition, the 1st gets 1,5p. If there are 10 competitors you have >2p.
the first gets 2 points but the second gets nothing just a silver cup filled with no points. why don't you said
less than 10 submission rev3. point system less points but not 0,1 points for an second place
10-19 submission a mixture of rev2 and rev3 with a firm placing points
over 20 submission rev2 with in max hwpoints of 75
-
Let me put it this way: Rev3 equals
"Having competitive harware instead of expensive hardware"
and competitive hardware is expensive hardware - well done - the circle is complete
if you wanted to give the bencher of the mainstream hardware more points why don't you just raised the max hwpoint limit up to 75 and done.
the thread here shows you that there ist something wrong with the rev. 3 14 pages in just a few houres and usa isn't awake
we are the people!!!!

the new rev. is total sh*t
how can it be, that you get the same among of point for an E8500 @ 3GHz and for an E8500 @ 5GHz. Why should i bench the Cpu? to get an absolutly senseless achievement. the point that in rev.2 just money makes the points(4xcf etc.) is now even so. you just get points with the newest/mainstream hardware.
i spend hour the find the best Cpu's on ebay und the right boards and now it's all for nothing. wath is the diffrent to spent 3-4 houres search von vmolt/boards etc. for old hardware than for new hardware?
your argument for splitting the wprime enchmark is so lame. in the toplist there where only in the Top20 servers and with the years and new multicore cpus there were a change in progress. so for pcmark05. split this benchmark bei HDD/ xp startup and not by Cores. an ssd makes more points than an doubled core number.
my recommendation is back to rev2. points algorithm and keep the splitting of the gpus and cpu( wprime - sockets; pcmark05 - hdd)
-
I totally agree a screenshot should be required for wprime. without screenshot no points. it easy to make a screenshot and cost not so much time

please add a Pentium 3 1000MHz with a FSb from 100MHz and a multiplier from 10. here is the cpu-z link http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=703979

i think to solution with the 2 teamrankings is the best.
the one Power Ranking were the best score counts and than the normal ranking, just like the team ranking now.
