  1. This has prolly been discussed in the past but I would like to see in the future a place to input your CPU Batch #. Some peoples I know from them posting in other forums but others I don't. It would also be a nice way to track them.

  2. You're points are valid mass and jmke, and i respect that. i've made peace with the fact that they should show. BUT not as HWbot world records. HWbot should have a World Record page yes, but it shouldnt be Called HWBOT world recrods, it should be called World Records. see below:

is what we see here in this image HWBOT world records (a.k.a official hwbot Valid wr's with current hware) or WORLD RECORDS in general.

cause if it was wr's in general Hipro 5's superpi 1m score should be shown and ducks 8.2ghz with the Japanese flag

  3. People like Kinpin are sponsored and get alot of hardware for free... so yes they submit with all their own hardware. If you cant believe that then... too bad for you? For instance I own a pc parts business and so can bench a great number of gear for free. Some people are hardware reviewers. Some people build gaming/crunching/encoding pcs for others and can bench those. So before you start to say everyone on the top is hardware sharing, do some math...

Hardware sharing rules are fair and in place for a reason. Sponsored overclockers obviously have an edge over the rest of us, but hey thats life. Since they are the best, companies give them free hardware to show off its potential... Just like any professional sport or league...

I am sure there are some out there that have used their and only their hardware. I never once said everybody and I am not saying Kingpin has submitted borrowed hardware either. I simply used him as a metaphor. You get a cookie though for using only your hardware but you can't say everybody is like you and has used there own hardware. I am entitled to my opinion just as you are. There are many out there that feel the way I do and there are many out there that feel the way you do so don't sit there and tell me to go do some math, you go do some math. I could care less either way. Use your hardware don't use your hardware. Who GAF!!!

  4. the owner of the CPU can submit 2D scores

the owner of the GPU can submit 3D scores

loaning hardware = hardware sharing and is not accepted; while we do understand that being a part of a team encourages teamwork, it should not be abused by posting multiple scores with the same hardware in multiple profiles.

So you mean to tell me people like Kingpin and others like him have owned all the hardware they have submitted? You look at some of the members submissions and they have submitted a bench on just about every card made or every cpu made or both. There is no way anybody will ever get me to believe that him and others like him have owned all the hardware they submitted for. Yeah there is alot of sharing going on and what's sad is there is alot of crying going on about it.

  5. using FF2.0 and IE6/7 showing up fine though :/

Hmmm strange. Click on the pics and you'll see what I am talking about as I have a before and after highlighted. Doesn't matter if I am on Explorer 7 or Firefox 3, at work or at home.

    Here it is normal:

    Grey-1.jpg

    and highlighted:

    Highlighted-1.jpg

I now know to highlight the area to see the remarks. Somethin' you guys might look into as I don't see how it could be on my end as I have tried two different browsers, home computer and two work computers and the problem is still there.

  6. If you click the book under the submission the mods leave notes most are informative and easy to follow.

One is showing version 1.63 and one shows version 2 (I only checked 2 that showed blocked).

Yeah I know. I did that and all it shows is a grey screen . But I just looked again and I have to click, hold and drag my mouse across the screen as for some reason you can see the notes when you highlight them with your mouse. The back ground is the same color as the text where the notes are. In Firefox and Explorer. Very janky. I know now to highlight the area.

  7. you never got a screen that said HWbot didn't use 1.55 anymore;) you a screen that said that online submission for 1.55 at the Wprime site is not supported anymore and please use 2.00 for that ;)

v1.55 is still required, if you included screenshot with you result with CPU-Z and verify CPU speed of the submitted result, less bugs need to be ironed out:)

Yeah that's the screen I got hit with. This makes no sense whatsoever though. Online submission for 1.55 is not supported anymore and to use 2.0 for that but then 1.55 is still required? Then on top of that I did two runs of the 1.55 version 32m with my e8600 and they scored at 28 seconds and it submitted them as the wrong CPU. I then did a run with the 2.0 version and was around 15 somethin seconds which is more correct. I give.

  8. Well I ask because I have been trying to figure out why some of my team members show insufficient results on my team. I have emailed about them but with no response back. Here are the submissions in question:

    GutterZ, FACE411 & WiCkEd_FeLiX in 1024m submissions

    http://www.hwbot.org/listResults.do?applicationId=15&teamId=2012&filterUser=true

    GutterZ & WiCkEd_FeLiX in 32m submissions

    http://www.hwbot.org/listResults.do?applicationId=14&teamId=2012&filterUser=true

If anybody could tell me what is wrong with them it would be greatly appreciative. I know when I tried to use 1.55 the other day I was hit with a screen that told me HWBot was not using 1.55 anymore and to use 2.0. Not to mention the few times I tried to use 1.55 on my E8600 it submitted it as a different CPU and my scores were twice as slow.
