    The solution to 389 posts of "you're an evil corporate bitch" is quite easy:

     

    - Team League = as it is now

    - new PowerTeam League = only best scores count

     

    This way you can see the team thrust in the normal league and the true quality (assuming quality equals higher score) in the PowerTeam League.

     

    Leaving the team league as it is will likely satisfy 95% of the masses. It saddens me knowing I won't get to see PURE I, II, III, IV, etc dominate the top 10 team scores but this will help to keep hwbot more team oriented. I fear though we might end up with too many leagues and it'll all run together. Time will tell I suppose.

    I just told you what the proof is , its a person with credibility within a team admitting what his own team does.........

     

    Lets go further with an example of this.

     

    Movieman ( someone I feel has impeccable credibility ) comes and makes a post here that team XS is hardware sharing.

     

    Would you belive him if he said that? well if you would than guess what, the source i have has that type of credibility.

     

    It's not my decision or call to throw it out there, its up to that person and it would be a total dickhead move on my part to break confidentiality.......

     

    I see you have picked up Bill's torch. If it isn't your call to throw anything out there, wherever there is, then how about you pipe down and not mention it? Rondominance (high five dude) did a good job with the dictionary but I feel one more word must be clearly defined.

     

    confidentiality - noun - the property of being confidential.

     

    confidential - adjective -(meant to be) kept secret within a certain circle of persons; not intended to be known publicly.

    PURE breaks up into 10 separate teams of 2, plans accordingly and keeps all other teams out of the top 10. You've been warned :D

    I don't really get what's going on, but, it seems like hwbot rev4 means more fighting. More fighting means more drama. More drama means more entertainment ftw.

    I gradually went from slightly understanding the point of Rev 4 to being completely confused after reading through this thread. I dislike Rev 3 but I got used to it in the same sense that a dog gets used to its collar. Rev 4 however is a massive change and does a very good job of suppressing the desire to bench. Why should I bench my GTX480 and 980x when I know I have no chance of beating the top 5 guys on my team? Right now I could spend a weekend and gather a few hundred points and be happy knowing I helped my team by knocking everyone below my scores a few points and I'd also have immense satisfaction seeing some big numbers from my rig posted. I guess I'll have to find a new way to have fun with HWBot ;)

     

    Bill, for the love of all things overclocking please stop hyping up whatever dirt you have and just spill it. First you claim you were waiting on hosting. Did you know Blogger and Wordpress offer free hosting? I just spent 30 seconds registering http://benchzowner.blogspot.com/ for you and another 10 minutes populating it with creative content I feel is similar to what you'll be posting. Feel free to contact me for the login credentials.

    That's the same 6.9GHz PiFast & Pi1M cpu ?

    And a pi/pifast ( mainly the 1st ) couldn't fit in the video ?

    Unlike the TWKR the 980X ES's ARE available to everyone, some individuals however choose not to buy them and rather get the retail ones, fair enough but dont say that you cant get the chips therefore they should be banned because of your unwillingness to buy a chip with no warranty

     

    The sale of ES chips is technically illegal. So.. if cash exchanged hands then you are benching with what would be stolen property. Some people don't want to get mixed up in that.

    I approve of this move. Been talking to a few people and the general consensus is that there is no drive to bench for WR due to the low points. The bonus idea is good as this will put the total number of points gained closer to the results for single GPU and make WR breaking a productive part of this hobby. I know with the current system I have zero plans for benching more than 2 GPUs b/c the points and global rankings are important to me.
