I was browsing the CPU frequency results using "stock" for cooling type in the filters, yet the submitted photos in many show either ln2, H2O or aftermarket coolers etc.

 

I thought "stock" meant the cooler that comes with the cpu, and air meant an aftermarket air HSF etc.

That's true, is just that some people don't bother to select their type of cooling in the dropdown menu and proceed with submitting with default option, which is "stock".
