Hi boys...

I tried on LN2 this vga, stable on 3DM01 and AQUAMARK with 1.30V and -100 @ 1250 gpu, but with other bench it's instable...If i go colder, vga artifacts...With MSI AB I can give 1.35V...i use LN2 bios and all deep switch ON...Someone can give me advises ?

which Pot and which thermal paste did you use? GTX 580 is a b!tch if it comes to those factors.

For the card I have, colder wasnt better. Might be worth it to try -50ish.

Also, i have RIBA GPU POT and i use downcorning 340 Thermal paste...I can use also MX4...With temperature shorter -100 i haven't benefit, also i give Voltage, 1.30, 1.35V, no better...

Haha I had issues too last session. Maybe Ryba's are too slim. And you must use Gelid TIM. We were running -130°C easy.

 

1400mhz core with 1.45/1.5v but no score with those settings lol. Yep use better thermal paste an heavy pot

Ok, i try next session with better Thermal paste but for pot this is the only that i have perhaps...i didn't find bigger used pot perhaps..

Im using same pot, no issue with 580 cards

And what your settings Moose ?

Do you use Ryba fat or slim Pot?

Gelid extreme is required.

If you have artifacts, take higher vmem. My 580GTX Lightning was CB-free @ vmem 1,95V

My pot it's Ryba Slim...I try to use better Thermal Paste and higher vmem...and about gpu Voltage? What program can i use? I try MSI AB with RBB...

1,35V is enough for slim pot. If you want high clocks you need a bigger Pot.

For more voltage you need ABX

Ok Clear...i retest vga with better paste and more Voltage on mem...i hope to solve...

All is said. Slim pots are to light for high voltage. And to go higher than 1.36v you need ABX from your MSI PR in Italy

 

And to score something decent with the card you must be... not my teammate and me (we suxxed lol)

and remember to mind 'the crack' if your paste cracks, your done, heat transfer to your pot will be lost.

 

even with tek-9 fat these cards are ln2 burning monsters
