October 10, 201411 yr So i got hooked up by all these benchmarks, but only one that i can do is XTU as it seem all other rookie benchmarks for cometitions dont allow to use win8 everything. So thats it for me as i wont be buying win7 just to be able to participate
October 10, 201411 yr You don't need to buy Windows 7. You can install it without a key and run it for 30 days before it pesters you for activation. I don't have a legit Windows 7 key apart from the ones on my Dad's machine, the server, and my laptop(s). All of my benchmarking on 7 relies upon the 30 day delay in activation. Besides, it never really lasts more than a week, being on a benching system.
