DeathRabit Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I reach FSB limit for this mobo is 140mhz any more have no effect simple after reboot in bios setup I will see for example 145 but when I boot windows cpu-z will detect only 140 (exactly 139,92) 140 FSB, of course, is fully stable. I would understand if the higher FSB was not stable but it clearly looks like a lock. And about Ram Voltages I want push a bit more but 1.65V ( mobo limit) it to low for more OC System Specs CPU: AMD Althon X4 740 @4,47Ghz Max temp 54C Stepping: 1 Revision TN-A1 Frequency: 4477Mhz Ref* Mulitiplier: 139.85 * 32 ( Under Bios is 140) CPU Voltage: 1.45V NB Frequency: 2238.8Mhz NB-Volts- + 0,1V RAM: 8GB 1866Mhz DDR3 CL8 @ 1.65V ( Corsair Vengeance CMZ8GX3M2A ) CL8-8-9-22 Motherboard: Asus A88XM-A + added heat sinks on power section GPU: Sapphire Radeon R7 260X 1GB GDDR5 OC Cooling: Air Cooling/ CPU Cooler Master Hyper TX2 + AAB Cooling Thermal Grease 2 Max Temp 54C O.S. : Win 7.1 Home 64bit Any one have any experience with AMD UEFI ? newlife Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Your only option is to get a new board because I had an A88XM-PLUS and it had limit of 155mhz despite being able to set higher and the Gigabyte A88XN-WiFi I'm using now will run higher Quote
newlife Posted January 14, 2015 Posted January 14, 2015 Scarp that Gigabyte A88XN-WiFi has a bios limit of 140 Quote
The Stilt Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 All of the boards without an external Pll are limited to 136MHz really. You can go higher, if you know how A88X sucks at high BCLKs thou. Quote
