BenchZowner Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 Hi guys, Just noticed that one of my old runs was blocked for insufficient verification. After moving my site to another server I forgot to re-upload that specific screenshot. I've just edited the result & re-uploaded the screenshot. Could you please unblock it ? Here's the result: http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=593721 Quote
Massman Posted March 3, 2008 Posted March 3, 2008 wow, you went out of your way to fix that, thanks! verified your score again. @RB: please make all results >6 months auto-verified, this user submitted the results back in April 2007, somebody reported it January 2008 for missing screenshot. Those things should not happen:) Make that 1 year Quote
12 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 Here is one of blocked result: http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=600733 http://www.hwbot.org/signature.img?iid=17709&thumb=false http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=599607 Here is another, dated 24 Apr 2007 This was the reason the user gave: Please provide more verification. As you can see the date of submission is 28 Apr 2007. The wprime window shows the model, frequency and stepping of processor. This program contains libraries for CPU verification. Why the result, which was posted 10 month before the new rules of posting example verification images are appeared, was blocked with such argument? Can the user, posted this result 10 month ago know that new rules of screenshot posting would appear? May be once you decide change the rules of making screenshots again. Is it real to predict your decision? Quote
demiurg Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 AFAIR, 2 CPU-Z windows (cpu and memory tabs) was always required for submitting results in CPU tests. wPrime does not represent correct cpu frequency, if it was changed with clockgen or setfsb after starting wPrime. Quote
12 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 demiurg, "AFAIR, 2 CPU-Z windows (cpu and memory tabs) was always required for submitting results in CPU tests. wPrime does not represent correct cpu frequency, if it was changed with clockgen or setfsb after starting wPrime." Here is no answer to my question. We discussed it with you already. At the moment of publishing this result there was not direct rules of screenshot making. Quote
Nibbler1 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 wPrime does not represent correct cpu frequency, if it was changed with clockgen or setfsb after starting wPrime. And what sense at this action? If Wprime it is passed on the greatest possible frequency, for given in that CPU above it to lift there is no sense and below too. HWboints in the given test increase for the "seconds"(!!!!), instead of for frequencies of the processor. Make that 1 year Can be then it is necessary to write current rules here: http://hwbot.org/? As many do not have time to travel on a forum(some people not have free time for it and many people in Russia used DialUp), on obverse page come all! It will allow to avoid conflicts. Quote
12 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 jmke, What about this?: "Here is one of blocked result: http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=600733 http://www.hwbot.org/signature.img?i...09&thumb=false http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=599607 Here is another, dated 24 Apr 2007 This was the reason the user gave: Please provide more verification. Nibbler1 Posted March 12, 2008 Posted March 12, 2008 jmke, What about this?: Can the user, posted this result 10 month ago know that new rules of screenshot posting would appear? It too very important question! If you considerably change rules then it is necessary to do the amendment on those results which have been laid out before this change. Will agree, that it will be logically and fairly. In most cases the result cannot be repeat because of old hardware will be lost(For the different reasons). Quote
Bustah Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 Can someone please tell me why, yesterday I had 59 points total and today I have just 2.5 points? Its been hard work getting the points fair and square and now they have disappeared? I have no email saying anything has been blocked for any reason and all my submissions are still in view, just no points for them. Would a moderator please kindly explain why this is? thanks. Quote
Bustah Posted March 18, 2008 Posted March 18, 2008 apparently it turned out your scores were not worth that much after all! or read http://hwbot.org/forum/showthread.php?p=17234#post17234 Im not sure if your reply is to me or not , if it is then I cant see how it relates? btw some of my scores have magically re-appeared but only about half of them.? Edit; Sorry, I just realised what the problem is......server switch... Quote
