Samnsung 8Gb Kit is simply amazing , best DDR3 kits i ever had , that samy CK0 with good IMC ... i would not be surprised for 3000+ on both samy kits :) , as it is nearly stable 2933 @ with only 1.50v with weak IMC from my i5 4670K . Passes Super PI 32M at 2933 @ 1.50v !!! (and for that i had to raise Vring , Vsa , Vioa/Viod a lot ) but wont even post at 3000 , definitely CPU's IMC limit looks like it .

 

Overclocking Results (may vary on many factors and not guaranteed) :

 

Tested on my old i5 4670K with weak IMC and ASRock Z87 Extreme4 .

All subtimings on Auto , Vring 1.15v , Vsa , Vioa/Viod all +0.20v.

 

 

  • Dominator Kit had been used in my gaming pc at stock speeds all that time , stock clock is DDR3-2666 11-13-13-35 with 1.65v by XMP profile
  • Ballistix 16Gb Kit (both) does 2133 @ 11-12-12-30 with 1.65v easy Prime95/Linx/Memtest86 tested for hours !
  • Samsung 8Gb Kit (both) 2800 @ 14-15-15-30 with 1.50v easy Prime95/Linx/Memtest86 tested for hours !
  • Samsung 8Gb Kit (both) 2933 @ 14-15-15-30 with 1.50v lol (Super PI 32M) , but IMC on my 4670K is very weak and cant get it stable at 2933 (with any memory) , 3000+ wont even post Error23 IMC is too weak
  • Crucial 8Gb Kit only tested stock speeds not sure how well will they overclock , no longer have my 2011 system to play with DDR4
