Hello all, I am encountering the following issue when trying to install XTU, "verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services". I am trying to install on a newly purchased Asus ROG G751 laptop running Win 8.1. Please see the screenshot for details.

 

I have tried everything I know over the past 24 hours but to no avail and your help would be much appreciated.

    I am using an admin account and have tried a wide range of measures including safeboot, sfc scannow, disabling antivirus and many others but cannot resolve this issue

    1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
    2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
    3. Adjust your preference.
    Chrome (Desktop)
    1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
