I noticed Skylake's stock voltage is a bit high it seems, so I was wondering if our new max voltage that's "24/7 safe" is higher than the previous 1.35v we were recommended by intel.

I can't seem to find anything concrete, was wondering if anyone knew.

Just curious that's all :P.

Thanks for any help guys, post a source if possible thanks again!

Usually the temperature will be the limit and not the voltage. Everything up to 1.4 Volt is no problem from my testing but the CPUs will get quite hot at this voltage so delidding might be necessary.

I've been told not to go above 1.45v on my sample from MSI/Intel, but that's probably more of a guideline than anything else.

Also, the stock voltages change. Mine was 1.249v on first boot. I loaded the optimised defaults, and then it came down to a much more expected 1.098v.
