I think it should be regulated per core. Totally unfair for the average User. And yes i am complaining from Rank1 with an 6950x, because specially when rookies meet, depth of pokets shouldn't be measured :D

It honours you, but we usually mix core division depending on benchmarks used. GPUPI is not a benchmark that is good for core division, maybe next time we restrict hardware used by number of max cores used.

Problem with that is, this excludes players as well. Because, when i first stumbled across hwbot, i "only" had my 10 core setup, and was unable to join 2-3 Rookie rumbles because of this. Split results by the amount of cores seems to be the best solution imho.

Multicore benchmarks that are measured by fastest time like GPUPI or y cruncher are not suitable for core division^^ - we will have to live with this. I think mixing stages is best solution :)
