jurek Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 for cpu-z over 4k for pc mark ca. 3,5k http://www.hwbot.org/quickSearch.do?hardwareId=CPU_1458&name=Athlon+64+6400%2B+X2+%28359%29 Quote
jurek Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 What VCore did you use? Temperatures? ? explore link pls maybe u ll find on screenshots temps and vcores Quote
L4nc3 Posted June 16, 2008 Author Posted June 16, 2008 (edited) Well ok here i made a screenshot cpu-z and core temp on it: i set cpu voltage on 1,4v with 16x210Mhz now the cpu is running on 3360Mhz but it isnt stable when i run 3dmark06 !! some time i get a bluescreen or my screen is getting black... i thought i have a good cpu fan but isnt it enough? jurek Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 (edited) what links are you referring to? none posted in this thread;) i mean go here: http://www.hwbot.org/quickSearch.do?hardwareId=CPU_1458&name=Athlon+64+6400%2B+X2+%28359%29 and explore links for best scores where are screenshots for example this: http://www.hwbot.org/result.do?resultId=720520 i thought i have a good cpu fan but isnt it enough? they do it on liquid nitrogen Edited June 16, 2008 by jurek Quote
jurek Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 CPU-Z not always correct with the vcore and no info on the cooling at all;) if cpu-z is not correct pls remove this benchmark from hwbot ok? Quote
L4nc3 Posted June 16, 2008 Author Posted June 16, 2008 well all i want is to overclock my cpu to its limit.. not to make a world record^^ for me it is enough when i can overclock my cpu up to 3,4ghz or maybe 3,5ghz and get it stable..without bluescreen or windows shutdowns.. Quote
L4nc3 Posted June 16, 2008 Author Posted June 16, 2008 Cpu: AMD Athlon X2 6400+ (Idle: Core1/42° Core2/39°) (Full Load: Core1/56° Core2/52°) Motherboard: Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe Memory: CORSAIR ValueSelect DDR2-RAM KIT 2048 MB, PC2-667 MHz (dual channel) CORSAIR ValueSelect DDR2-RAM KIT 1024 MB, PC2-667 MHz (dual channel) Room temperature...erm..i think between 20°-25° Quote
der8auer Posted June 16, 2008 Posted June 16, 2008 U Just used 1,280VCore Play a bit with it Have a look on the temps and then you can go on 1,4VCore or higher. Should help you to reach a higher clock Quote
L4nc3 Posted June 17, 2008 Author Posted June 17, 2008 ah no^^ i really use 1,4VCore. i set it in the Bios but i dont know why cpuz shows 1,280VCore -.- Quote
L4nc3 Posted June 17, 2008 Author Posted June 17, 2008 ah no^^ i really use 1,4VCore. i set it in the Bios but i dont know why cpuz shows 1,280VCore -.- i already tried to reach its limit by myself. i was also able to overclock it to 3,520GHz on 1,565VCore ('cause it wanst able to boot on 1,5VCore) and it seems to be stable when i just do nothing... but when i open firefox or something like that i get a bluescreen.. even when i want to do a stresstest with prime95 it only takes 5sec to get a bluescreen ... jurek Posted June 17, 2008 Posted June 17, 2008 maybe his bios is inacurate otherwise i have question why use inacurate program as a benchmark? Quote

clock-king Posted June 25, 2008 Posted June 25, 2008 It could be that you have a bad board with a bad cpu and that you cant go higher. Quote
MaXtoRZP Posted June 28, 2008 Posted June 28, 2008 L4nc3 You must set dram frequency at 533 or 400 in the BIOS. Then you may increase Ht frequency. To my mind you ought to beat 3.4-3.5GHz.Your CPU clock by default is nearby technological limit (for air cooling), so it can't be clocked to great Quote
