Dizeeworm Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Hello, I have an ABIT IP35 Board,I was checking different BIOSES and checking the vMCH,vCore and memory perfomance ,until I flashed one of the BIOSes and it completed the update and then after removing the CMOS Battery and then trying to boot again would run me into a bootloop I have tried 2 different CPUs one is an E8400 (C0) and E7500(E0) .Is there any way to recover the board and the failed bios flash.(The BIOS is Award )? Regards Aritra Quote
newlife Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Your options would be desoldering the bios and getting a flasher and reflashing it or replace with new bios chip with right bios on it Quote
Dizeeworm Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Its not soldered ,Its a PLCC Chip .I need an SPI Flasher right ? Quote
Christian Ney Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Yep, that will do. Or with another board. Quote
