March 9, 20188 yr You can't be sure of this unless you have the exact same ram settings. whycruncher hits mem very hard, especially in 1b which uses around 4 gb.
March 9, 20188 yr Author He has just shy of 4GHz CPU clock, 3466MHz memory and tighter times than me per the result. The only thing I think of note is his memory may not be truly stable. Before running any benchmarks I ran my system through Prime95 with AVX, AIDA64 , memtest86, etc. I'm running Hynix 3200 MHz rated CL16. Edited March 10, 20188 yr by AlphaC
March 10, 20188 yr It could even be something down to maxmem. It's common to run 4 gb maxmem on bdie.
March 17, 20187 yr Author I found out from Mysticial that the newer versions of y-cruncher are better optimized for Ryzen
