It is higher than your previous best with the 8800GT. Your 9800GX2 scores higher in Global Ranking, so now your latest score will receive Global Ranking, as ONLY ONE SCORE PER BENCHMARK PER USER will get Global Points. Your old 8800 GT 3DMark2001SE score will loose HWboints as it will only be able to score with Hardware Points now.

 

But if you buy two 9800GX2 cards then you will still get global points from your 8800GT and get global points for your 9800GX2 cards. Isn't that a bit wrong?
