March 31, 201115 yr without killing it of course It's because for our Intel motherboards reviews we use the HD 5850, and the actual tester is at the Army but he will still review X58 boards. Other sockets will be reviewed by myself, but unfortunately we only have 1 HD 5850 and tons of HD 5870.
April 1, 201115 yr Yes , you can flash your 5850 card with 5870 Bios , not problem. 5870 Bios , uses more up Voltaje Core and VRAM. I try it on my 5850 and work fine. Regards !
