nOFi
I downloaded the latest version of XTU2 (7.12.0.29) from oficial link (https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/17881/intel-extreme-tuning-utility-intel-xtu.html). After the benchmark when I click the button "Compare Online" I have an error "An exception has occurred while trying to upload the profile". According to the description of the intel page the i7 7700k is not supported and older versions of XTU are no longer available to download. So my question is, how can I download a version compatible with my cpu? How can I upload the XTU2 result of my i7 7700k?
Crew Leeghoofd Posted September 3 Crew Share Posted September 3 XTU 2.0 is from 8th gen on, so there's no way to upload any score with your 7700K, Neither can you save the score and export the profile, this to submit manually that datafile. This was not HWBot's decision but a limitation from Intel A new overhauled XTU version is in the pipeline, I'll check CPU support.
nOFi
Thanks for the reply. It's a shame because there are more than 200 entries for the XTU2 with i7 7700k: https://hwbot.org/benchmark/xtu_2.0/rankings?hardwareTypeId=processor_5271 But I suppose that is with and older version of the XTU2. I already have and older version of the XTU (6.2.0.24) but I think that is too old for the XTU2, because according to the rules I need "Intel XTU 2.0 version 7.3.3 or newer"
