I'm know I'm late to the party but I think based on what I just read it seems like there is M-die with 2 GB ICs (old) and now M-die in a 3 GB variant is the new M-die... why do we always need to be Sherlock Holmes with memory Jesus Christ...

Hynix 24Gbit M-die currently works a lot better than 16Gbit A-die on Intel Core Ultra.

However for everything else, 16Gbit A-die is still better.

I cant totally confirm or backup this ... but they claim that the 2nd gen M-dies (placed in 24GB sticks) are more easy on the imc part.

At the end , you will always achieve what your imc can give you.

From personal experience with random , low bin ram kits , both the A-die and the M-die got at the same top speed and similar settings , just my M-dies used a little bit less voltage.
