marco.is.not.80 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Can someone help me understand why - for example the Port Royal requirements of showing two separate tabs of GPU-Z - one with initial information and the other tab showing all the hardware sensors - there are so many entries that still only show one tab? I always thought that the required information had a red box around it and anything with a green box was a suggestion (or maybe it is the other way around) and if there were no red or green boxes than everything is mandatory. So how is a submission valid without both tabs? I'm not trying to start trouble - in fact I'm thinking that I'm totally misunderstanding the requirements myself wouldn't mind knowing so I don't state something that isn't true. Thanks in advance! wutske Posted January 14 Posted January 14 The text version states it's not mandatory Quote Benchmark window and score visible CPUZ tab for CPU and memory (V2.00+) GPUZ tab for GPU Windows taskbar must be visible No screenshot clipping or cropping The screenshot also uses an invalid version of CPU-z, so it might just need a polishing Quote
marco.is.not.80 Posted January 15 Author Posted January 15 I see - I assumed the absence of the specific text implied that it was mandatory. Of course, I think I tend to just look at the screenshot and not much else. Thanks for pointing that out. Well now I know 🙂 Quote

Marco You are correct. What is in red is required. What is in green is optional. The Port Royal rules example screenshot does not have the red and green boxes and it includes an extra CPU-Z and an extra GPU-Z that are not necessary, so you have to rely on what is written in the table above. I know many people post a second instance of GPU-Z showing the sensors for max core and memory clocks. The rules can vary a little bit between benchmarks so it is always good to check before posting. The Port Royal rules validation requires a valid URL to correspond with the screenshot. CPU-Z CPU tab, CPU-Z memory tab, GPU-Z tab for GPU. All benchmarks as far as I know now require a full desktop screenshot including the Windows taskbar. No clipped, snipped or cropped desktop shots. Edited February 17 by Mr. Fox 1 Quote
