richba5tard
Hmmm, very quick response from here: traceroute to hwbot.org (213.193.228.71), 64 hops max, 40 byte packets 1 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 5.986 ms 1.200 ms 0.929 ms 2 d54C3F801.access.telenet.be (84.195.248.1) 14.749 ms 11.231 ms 13.412 ms 3 dD5E0C5C1.access.telenet.be (213.224.197.193) 15.043 ms 15.460 ms 17.772 ms 4 dD5E0FD5D.access.telenet.be (213.224.253.93) 18.845 ms 23.458 ms 9.935 ms 5 dD5E0FD66.access.telenet.be (213.224.253.102) 9.903 ms 26.156 ms 13.017 ms 6 gi4-41.ccr01.bru01.atlas.cogentco.com (130.117.14.77) 19.381 ms 19.718 ms 17.790 ms 7 149.6.134.34 (149.6.134.34) 24.059 ms 21.277 ms 18.732 ms 8 ge-1-0-22-0703.bru-ix-d02.ipv4.evonet.be (82.146.112.18) 21.823 ms 15.957 ms 18.634 ms 9 ge-1-0-25-0503.bru-lc-d02.ipv4.evonet.be (82.146.120.1) 14.540 ms 24.603 ms 25.167 ms 10 71-228.193.213.static.priorweb.net (213.193.228.71) 25.684 ms 17.200 ms 21.214 ms The server is not overloaded, and nothing in the logs suggest high traffic in the past days. Judging from your trace it's telia.net which is causing the delay.
Ol'Bud
Ok, I thought you would want to know. close the ticket. Bud
Ol'Bud
Also I get this all the time: "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing or mismatched. If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error." And I have to stop the load and then refresh the page or I can't get on the home page for the forums without the error reporting. If you logon remotely through a proxy like ironkey which is in Redwood City,California, then you would see the issues. I don't do that though. Are you guys using the default template or a different style? I restarted the apache server, maybe that helps for the performance issue. richba5tard
Ah yes, I see you are using the "fancy gray" template. If I choose that template, i can simulate the bug when using the quick search function. I better disable this template, if it's causing issues. Ol'Bud
OK, I'll use the one that you are using, but I notice that it hasn't updated for a few days for you either.
richba5tard
I was talking about the forum template, not the signature template. : )
Ol'Bud
ok I'll switch. edit: Man ! Where is that option hiding to switch forum templates ? Edited June 3, 2009 by Ol'Bud
richba5tard
It should have switched automatically now that the broken one is deleted. The forum still looks exactly the same to you? It should look like the attached picture.
Ol'Bud
It could be different, I just never paid much attention to it, as I'm on the forums so seldom. It look s the same as in your post. it takes a while for me right now to answer mail because I'm being persistent with this belligerent video card. Persistence breaks down resistance, you know? Ol'Bud
OK,RB ! What ever work you did on the site is good for the forums too. Because for me, it is running with out any delays or redirects or issues with errors. Thanks, Bud
