Pentium 3 600 or 450???

Recommended Posts

Where should I submit the Scores from this Processor?

http://www.cpu-world.com/sspec/SL/SL3JU.html

CPU-Z says that it is a 450MHz with 100MHz FSB Processor but its written on it 600MHz with 133MHz FSB also CPU-World says that it is a Processor with 600MHz.

Where should I submit the Scores? Original VCore=2,05V

@ocool

it's a p3 600b (133mhz) with katmai core, but cpu-z shows it as p3 450 since the 440bx boards doesn't support 133mhz p3s officially.

so cpu-z recognizes it as a p3 450.

It looks like there is no category on hwbot for this cpu.

You should go to helpcenter http://www.hwbot.org/forum/helpcenter.php

and create a ticket for this cpu so mods can add it to hwbot.

just think why there's no category till now. looks like everyone posted his result in the p3 450 category.

how can you verify it's a 600b when cpu-z shows it always as p3 450?;)

Well maybe if you would run it on P3B or similar mbo with full support for p3 and fsb133, maybe then could cpuz show the right settings.

But thats all maybe.

Most probably cpu-z can't distinguish those two cpus.

And about posting 600mhz cpu into 450mhz cpu category, and using cpu-z bug to hide it is so wrong. Shame on them.

But maybe aperacer is realy the first user of hwbot with this cpu.

he's not the first. i have the cpu too, but didn't bench it till now, because of this problem. ;)

the p3b also shows the cpu as p3 450. ;)

i think it's a cpu-z problem since the beginning.
