Rasparthe Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Not really sure where to post this so I'll ask here and if someone wants to move me to right area that would be appreciated. Can someone point me to the Pentium 4-M chips? This family of 478 chips here: http://www.cpu-world.com/CPUs/Pentium_4/TYPE-Mobile%20Pentium%204-M.html I don't mean the Pentium M on socket 479 nor the Pentium 4 Mobile chips with the 533 FSB. Are they missing entirely from the database? Quote
knopflerbruce Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Just type "Pentium 4 Mobile" and they'll show up. Maybe those chips need to be renamed a little bit. Quote
Rasparthe Posted January 25, 2012 Author Posted January 25, 2012 Ahh, it looks like they have them blended. Perhaps they are close enough in architecture that it does not matter? I see that the 2.4 version has CPUz score from both families. Pentium 4 Mobile 2.4 - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=806275 Pentium 4-M 2.4 - http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=1774584 Quote
knopflerbruce Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 I'm thinking those chips aren't the same, so perhaps Turrican should take a look at this - could be that we need to att a few categories. Quote
TaPaKaH Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 there are Mobile Pentium 4-M without IHS and 100MHz FSB and Mobile Pentium 4 with IHS and 133MHz FSB all those chips are physically compatible with desktop boards with the only limitation of x12 multiplier Quote
