Hi all, I have this asus 8800 ultra laying around and planning on voltmodding it soon but I also noticed that it originally has two 6 pin power connectors but there is room for an 8 pin connector.

Can I just make it an 6 and an 8 pin?

    I think it would would work, but I don't think it will make much difference to MHz :)

    Yeah that's the idea, I just thought with an 8 pin it is able to extract more power if the card needs it.. ;)
