UD5-X58 222 wall?

trying to get past 222 anyone run into this ? getting a 6F post code and traced it back to a XS thread about uncore and that went on about the 222 wall and hard mod needed

Well, you do need to modify your board if it's the old revision ( 1.0 ) that can't boot with any PCI-Express bus frequency over 103MHz.

The mod isn't an easy task for the folks without experience in soldering, so if you need it and have to do it, make sure your soldering skills are up to the task, if you can't then just have somebody else do it for you ( a TV/Radio electronics repair shop can possibly do it for you )

dam that sux.....what a downer the board is rock solid at 222 aswell
