February 26, 201016 yr Well, you do need to modify your board if it's the old revision ( 1.0 ) that can't boot with any PCI-Express bus frequency over 103MHz. The mod isn't an easy task for the folks without experience in soldering, so if you need it and have to do it, make sure your soldering skills are up to the task, if you can't then just have somebody else do it for you ( a TV/Radio electronics repair shop can possibly do it for you )
