Ivy Bridge Windows XP Turbo Mode troubles

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

i7-3770K

ASUS M5G - 1204 BIOS

4 GB PCS Memory

and so on.

Never had a Problem with this setup, but now we reinstalled Windows XP SP3 and we did not get the Turbo-Mode working.

BIOS Shows all things correct, Windows 7 shows all correct. But XP runs just with 1600 MHz never mind if load or not. And no it is not a 'monitoring' problem because performance suxx too.

Did anyone has a fast hint for us? :/

€: Ok, it was a CPU trouble, dirty pin made our CPU throttle.
