Hi . the cpu does not have the standard cooling / cover. i do not know the serial but i try the cpu in other mobo slot1 ASUS and run 266mhz default . i think the abit have a bug . i delete all the submission

did you change the multi one that cpu?

on old pentium 2 cpus which have an unlocked multi, when you change the multi from e.g. x3.5 (233mhz) to x3, cpu-z recognizes the cpu as pentium 2 200.

I agree with Karl. That seems to be the case. And I don't believe it's a bug because by default multiplier is set on default value, not an altered one.

It's a different CPU. Let me guess - a bug again and no plastic cover either? :D
