Maximus VI Hero and G.skill Pi CAS 6

Hi all,

 

That's two weeks I there to try to run my Pi series in CAS 6-9-6-24 (as Ivy) but impossible.

 

It works with stock frequency @ 1000MHz CAS 7-9-7-24 but I can't boot into CAS 6 @ 1000MHz, please need you

 

I have not tested @ 1200MHz CAS 8 but it worked on Ivy.

Hmm,are you loading XMP profile or set them manually?Go for manual,set them 6-9-6-24-1T,leave secondary's as auto and try with twcl 7-8, and go for tertiary,should be agle to set something like this order in memtweakit: 4-5-5-20-6-6-4-6-6,set dimm voltage as 1.65,manually set multiplier for dd3-2000 and try ...

 

Also how does it act,55 code or continuous restart loop?

Yes I am MANUAL for CAS and voltages.

 

I have the code 55 when I test CAS 6, I will try with your tertiary timings;)

 

It's ok in CAS 8 @ 1200 with 1.75v

I still can't get the CAS 6, and I also have a problem with the agent sytem I can't even put MANUAL, AI TUNNER in MANUAL. It remains OFFSET.

For this board it's normal that these voltages are offsets. FYI, Stock SA is 0.825V if I'm correct. Stock IO around 1.050v. In case you were wondering. What offsets do you currently use?

Yes you are right for the default voltage.

 

On Ivy, I put in 0.95 VCCSA and VCCIO and it was perfect but not Haswell.

 

Some say it is the secondary and tertiary timings but I master not always ...
