Strange bug with MSI Z87 Mpower

not used the regular Mpower.. but had none of the issues your having on the Max or the Xpower.

make sure you have:

Fasboot MRC - disabled

XMP - enabled

SVID - disabled

CPU power options - set to max amperage

OCP and OVP disabled

Overspeed protection - disabled

vcore mode - override

**Can you recreate your issue using ; 2.5vccin and 1.6vcore ? or 2.28vccin and 1.77vcore?

everything like that, excluding Fastboot.

Can only say, that with vccin 2.3 motherboard also shuts down

with only vcore causing the issue.. i would lean towards this being CPU related, and not a characteristic of the mobo.

*interested in hearing more from you after testing different CPU or same CPU in different mobo..

I'm going to test that CPU (haven't another) on Maximus 6 Extreme 24-25 Aug, will report here.

I was setup up there 1024A. 200A doesn't help too.

+200a max mhz 6100 ?

As we need maximum? 300a?

I've had enough problems with Mpower Z87,

Above all went off to spend xTU,

No more voltage needed or need cold,

I think it is a bios problem of not giving the necessary watts.

It is rare that more testing can xpower up with the same cpu.

so.. thread title change to "strange bug with latest CPU?" .. :P ?! Glad to see you got it sorted.

Not with CPU, because via M6E it's doesn't shuts down after 1.55 volts on VCore like it does on MPower. May be, in lastest beta MSI fixed that bug already.

But sample is bad, because only 5.9 valid - it is a little bit offtop).

Dear benchmar.kz.

I think that the issue maybe broken the me firmware. my strange issue has a experience before.

so, I confirm the version of me firmware in the bios. the version show n/a value.

then, I update the bios with the fpt tool. and re-update the latest bios.

the version of me firmware show the correct. and mono is fine.

I recommend the updating me-firmware.

I hope that you don't stress from this issue.

thanks.
