How come there is no individual submissions for the CPU and GPU scores, for instance in 3DMark Vantage?

 

For example, im ranked 25th with a 5750, and managed to get a GPU score of 10893 with a 5750, and nicolasm, who is ranked 1st with a 5750, managed to get a GPU score of 10724 with a 5750. Only reason he's ranked 1st with a 5750, is because of his I7 980X.

 

So, my point of this, is that there should be individual submissions for the CPU and GPU scores.

Come on, anyone don't think this is a "problem"?

It's the nature of the benchmark, better CPU => better GPU performance.

 

Maybe Unigine heaven is more GPU bound? I haven't tried it, so I can't tell.

The result is calculated using the formula provided by the developer. I think we shouldn't make separate submissions for, for example, PCMark which has 13 subtests

They decided to do so - it's their right. Though, I agree, it's a bit unfair for a GPU benchmark.
